The exact dimensions are:
- A4 (21 x 29.7cm) or (8.3 x 11.7 inch) Small
- A3 (29.7 x 42cm) or (11.7 x 16.5 inch) Standard
- A1 (59.4 x 84.1cm) or (23.4 x 33.1 inch) Large
* Some historic maps and propaganda posters have slightly different dimensions as their original sizes are not possible to be converted into the international standard. They can still fit into regular frames.
